Thanks, I'm glad you dig it. The old photo look, with the scratches was done in a very low tech way: with sandpaper! I applied a gesso (a base coat made from a mixture of white acrylic paint, white ink and some powdered chalk) to the paper. I leave in large brush strokes for texture. After drawing the piece, I scratch it with the sandpaper. Then I gently rub soft pastels across the piece to make the scratches and brush strokes more prominent. That's pretty much it, if you have any more questions, feel free. Thanks.
Very nice. Especially considering that there was supposed to be a Cybermen/Dalek crossover much earlier than Army of Ghosts/Doomsday.....but Terry Nation (who created the Daleks) vetoed the idea while still alive.
Very cool, very nice image. The Daleks where perfect marketing material, colourful and exciting, you rooted for them no matter how evil they got, The Cybermen where Darker and undoubtably more scary, dunno if they would of worked in the same way.
